Collaboration Makes Using Social Media More Effective

Social Networking is a very powerful business development tool. Collaboration can make it our Social Media efforts much more powerful. Lets count the ways.

  1. We can share a blog together.
  2. We can comment on each other’s blogs
  3. We can cross post as guest bloggers.
  4. We can create links to each others posting and add to the story.
  5. We can create multiple perspective through a series of posts or articles that account for a variety of services dealing with a home issue.
    • Lets look at a roof as an example
    • The roofer can address class IV shingles, ventilation, etc.
    • Our brick mason can address problems with chimneys and counter flashings and brick sidewalls
    • Our insulation contractor can address insulation issues
    • OK- you get the drift here.
    • We can dominate a subject and position ourselves very powerfully as a team
  6. We can share articles written by partners on a variety of sharing sites like Delicious and Digg etc.
  7. We can Tweet and retweet around the content we create.
  8. We can even share ideas and expertise in being smart practitioners of Social Media. We will address that issue later when we talk about options for helping each other master critical technologies. Let go back to our evaluation of collaboration.
