We return to the concept of Show Me the Money. In this case, it is more showing you Where the Money is Going. Bore people and the money just goes away.
We must constantly earn the privilege of speaking to our audience. Whether it is the new visitor reading our information for the first time or if we are staying in touch with prospects and clients.
If they do not continually find value in what we offer: If we bore them- if we annoy them- if we push at them- if we are always selling at them…
They
- stop opening email
- stop opening our snail mail
- ignore our newsletters
- stop taking our calls ( they might be hard to reach anyway… but bore them, waste their time, call up and ask “are you ready to move yet?” and they will put a phone curse on you… your call won’t even right their phone… ouch.)
- stop referring us to their friends
- stop sharing our stuff on their social network.
And when they stop, they never start again. You could be publishing the equivalent of The Gettysburg Address and you are just talking to yourself.
Never be boring. Concentrate on adding value.
