You- Yes You- Need More Slack

Are you working too hard on stuff that is not strategic to your business?

You know you are. You know you need more slack. You just never have the time to think about it. Or you think that working hard is the right thing to do. Make sure you see this note on slack.

What would more slack do for you?

Make sure you see our discussion on Who Wants more Leads, Better Conversions an Happier Clients? These subjects will likely get you really excited. But there are no easy solutions described. Instead a pretty good road map is laid out. But this road map describes a lot of change. Oh, there is the low hanging fruit that is easy. And most people enjoy getting an opportunity to play a more substantial role in your business. People don’t like busy work.

But such change requires enlightened leadership and that is you. Now you can get help in the process. I really enjoy participating here. Because people do enjoy significance. But it takes a well articulated introduction and  a clear path and an owner who has time to think and not be distracted.

So we have to find you more slack.  What does take your time around the office?  Lets look at the value of your time.

Have you ever stopped and figured out your value per hour of work?

How much do you want to take out of your business this year and take home?

How much is your time worth per hour then- when you subtract your non-productive hours?

Now is everything you are doing around the office worth that much per hour?

What would you have to do to double your income? I doubt if you can work twice as many hours this year.

The answer is getting stuff off your plate. You need more slack. There are some really important topics and strategic ideas you need more time to think about… like friction and what to do about it.

And make sure you saw the sunny side of the equation.

Is there a question you have that was not addressed here?
